To start, Happy New Year! Spent the last day of 2011 and the first day of 2012 in SD with some pretty amazing people. It was a new year to remember. Stories for days and memories for a lifetime.

Sum up: we drank a lot, I lost my clutch, blacked out, woke up, found my clutch(thank you baby Jesus for whoever turned it in with EVERYTHING in it), and had a lot of laughs.

2012 will be a good year.

All relationships that are not meant to be go through that inevitable path called a break up. We than lean our friends for support and love and the same thing always seems to be said… ‘You’re soo pretty, you will be fine!’. In fact, beauty has nothing to do with our emotions, but what else do you say to a beautiful girl who’s heart is broken over a stupid boy.

In the recent months, that was said to one of my girlfriends. She had a horrible break up(Heartbreaking actually!) and as her friends we told her those words we think will make her feel better – ‘You’re gorgeous! You can find someone else’. In all my friends heartbreak, her reply to us was --- ‘I never thought I was ugly!’ ha! It’s true and in a time of tears and sadness, that truly broke the ice with laughter.

It seems to break up season.

I swear I will end up that amazingly cool aunt who is still playing the field at 40 and fabulous as ever.

Someone tell me why I’ve been so obsessed with Drake lately.

That is ALL I’ve been listening too. Even when I decide to switch it up a bit and listen to Pandora I still have it on Drake station. I have issues – Trust issues(Drake reference) HA!.

Amazing weekend with my faves from having to wait on(I hate waiting!) the Vegas Fling (Does he still count as a fling if he drove to Riverside? :P) to dancing the night a w a y to a banda with my girls. Nothing could have brought my mood ~~down~~ – not even all my make up falling into the toilet Saturday night. (I swear I wanted to die, but I survived). I guess it just means a new Orgasm blush, lip stick and concealer. (‘nother Drake reference, lol.)

5 Randoms to start off the week:

1. I think by not opening a text message somehow the sender knows that I haven’t opened it therefore making my lag response okay. (It’s like I never received it!)

2. I’m actually a lot stronger than I thought I was. It’s the best feeling to prove yourself wrong. (&& everyone else!)

3. Giving fake names is more fun that fake boobs. (HA!)

4. When I have no idea how to spell a word when texting I will change the whole text to avoid looking like a fool. (You do it too.)

I think one of the biggest things learned this year is that Honesty is the best policy. Things shouldn't be sugar coated or it may give someone false hope or false something. Be a friend and speak the truth. But never ever turn your back on the people in that situation. You just may be their strength to keep them alive.

Throughout my fabulous adventures (haha!) I have came out with the ‘stage name’ Kourtney with a ‘K’.(‘Like the Kardasian?’ Yes!) I use it on those nights out where you want to cut loose and be extra flirty with absolutely everyone …

WELLLLL … I went to Vegas this past weekend and met this guy. We did the ordinary introduction(‘baby girl, what’s your name -- where you from, boo?’), but my non-thinking(overly drunk) self gave my real name – Megan. Not the end of the world, but I did break my golden rule.

Anywhoo – by the end of the night not only did I throw up in the bushes(LMAO), but I also managed to give him my number. Knowing the mess I was, I absolutely did not expect to EVER talk to this kid again(Which I was okay with BTW). But to my surprise we continued the text’s after the mini break from r e a l i t y.

So Mr. Vegas fling and I get to talking and texting and the questions start to go beyond the surface. ‘What do you do for a living? – School? – Relationship?’ So on and so forth – Than the question that changed it all was asked – ‘What is your middle name?’ (Random!) For those of you who know me(are you even still reading? Lol) know that I go by my middle name and its rare anyone knows my actual first name – but I explained the story to him. I also explained how it’s so ~~unlike~~ me to give my actual name and the low down on Kourtney with a K. THANNNNNNNNNN the most shocking thing happened to me in my life(no, not really BUT) he told me that he gave me a cover name. 0_o

That letter was written the moment I knew I was done forever, that I had enough.

&& I think that’s where I am with this one too.

I don’t have as much hate in my heart as I did in that one, this time around. Not exactly sure how I feel about it at this moment in time, anyways. All I know is that after everything I go through I always come back here to let it all out….so here it is.

It’s that case where it’s not you, it’s me, kinda thing. This time it may be really me, and not you. Not to say those things that were done and said wasn’t bad – but – I believe it’s my fault for putting up with it.

I honestly, truly do dislike you more than anything in this absolute whole entire world – hate you for that disgusting past, the constant game, the cheating, the emotional mess. I dislike myself even more for putting myself through it. I knew you weren’t the my fairytale prince, but you sold me a dream. You sold me the future and I bought it like I had everything to gain…and nothing to lose. Silly me thought a future was there. Chance, after chance, after chance. Your words still sting at my heart – my eyes swollen from tears -- ‘I was just going with the flow.’ … ‘I didn’t really think anything though’ … ‘I woulda cheated once I found something better’.

From living with strippers to marriage proposals --- how in my right mind did I ever think I could get over that information? Maybe I could .. maybe it was possible… but maybe fighting about it was my weak way of pushing you away until it came to this because, I of course look for instant gratification and focus on worrying about problems that are right in front of me later. I knew you weren’t right for me, so I pushed and pushed until you let me go. Yea, it hurts now – but I will get over it. It’s sad how figured out I have myself. How much I know how my psyche works – but I have no clue how to fix it. Haha

5 Random tid bits about yours truly

1. I almost got kidnapped the other day. :( This car followed me from my house … I was so scared I called my mom for advice! I’m never checking into Foursquare again -- Not that that had anything to do with anything, but it scared me straight! Lol

2. I lost my ID as of last Thursday. After Downtown Fullerton I put it into the cubby hole of my car and it disappeared. I need to get on locating that ASAP.

3. My love hate relationship with the gym has once again started. I’ve been doing well but my eating habits still suck. Diet starts next week when I am able to bring groceries to work again. EXCUSES! Haha

4. I always believed everything happens for a reasons. You’re put through things in order to strengthen other aspects of your life – Ultimately I’ve had many trials but I think I’m still learning. I give into emotions and how I am feeling now, now, now and I have to learn how to get a hold of them.

My new hobby is READING!

Theme of the week.

I absolutely love getting lost in a new book. So my goal is to just…well…read. Lol

I finished 13 reasons why by Jay Asher. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. It’s about a young HS student who commits suicide. Throughout the journey of the book it gives you the ’13 reasons why’ she did it and who and what was done that pushed her to the end. It really makes you think how simple gestures and comments can hurt other people. I hear Universal Films will be making this book into a movie starring Selena Gomez. I actually can’t wait. It’s going to be intense!

My next adventure is The pact by Jodi Picoult. From the book summary it’s about a young couple that commits suicide together and throughout the book it explains the investigation and how the two families will have to cope with the aftermath. I couldn’t put it down last night.

Positive changes. :)

Stuck in traffic thinking about the dreadful questions that will come about why me && him broke up and got to thinking .....

Im going to let this be my one allowed moppy day (probably because he reopened the wound today lol) but tomorrow will be better ! Positive thinking. No sadness, no tears. Everything and everyone happens for a reason and I need to stop being a pansy !

Positive energy will be my new way of life and I hear good things happen in that lifestyle lol (I feel like I'm turning lesbian or something)

I'm going to keep myself busy and pretty soon I'll be okay again.
